China and Global Development Network received a delegation from the University of Warsaw, Poland on 9 March 2023.

Dr Ben KU, and Ms Kan YIP of China and Global Development Network visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Almaty, Kazakhstan on 21 Feb 2023 to exchange views and to discuss issues of further development of mutually beneficial collaboration.

The roundtable ‘Communicative Knowledge and Mobilisational Concepts: Taking “Suspension” as an Example’ was successfully held online. More than 120 participants attended the roundtable (14th & 15th February 2022).
The roundtable co-organised by Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University-The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was successfully held online

More than 20 scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and Israel had made speeches in the conference. Meanwhile, more than 70 participants attended the roundtable and engaged in the discussion.

Data Analysis and Generating Practice Model for the Project
“Asset-based Community Development of Migrant-Local Community”
(2020-2022)

Current project is to conduct systematic data mining and analysis based on the research data collected from a previous project in Kunming on migrant-local community (Asset-based Community Development of Migrant-Local Community). It aims to consolidate the social work practice model being developed for an inclusive community. Data analysis, journal paper and book writing and conference participation are the major activities in this new phase.
