China and Global Development Network received a delegation from the University of Warsaw, Poland on 9 March 2023.

Dr Ben KU, and Ms Kan YIP of China and Global Development Network visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Almaty, Kazakhstan on 21 Feb 2023 to exchange views and to discuss issues of further development of mutually beneficial collaboration.

The roundtable co-organised by Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University-The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was successfully held online

More than 20 scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and Israel had made speeches in the conference. Meanwhile, more than 70 participants attended the roundtable and engaged in the discussion.

Training workshop on Enhancing Social Work Practice Capacity on Individual and Family
(at VNU-USSH in HCMC and ULSA in Hanoi in Dec 2019)

The project is an initiative by Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University China Social Work Research Centre with its mandate role as Regional Resource Centre of International Association of School of Social Work. The key objective is to nurture the social work educators of two impactful universities in Vietnam, VNC-USSH in HCMC and ULSA in Hanoi, with a solid understanding on practicum curriculum development and a trial of integrating research into practice and teaching. The line of focus is children, youth and family as identified in this initial stage.

With ongoing clinical supervision and consultancy, the project would serve as a platform for mutual help and facilitate the exchange of experiences within the regions with trainers from Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Japan.
